Hold up! Before you start fussing and cursing out loud, hear me first! As you have probably come to know by now, the Sunsetter doesn’t do fashion posts. I’m not a fashion blogger. In fact, me and anything fashion go parallel ways! But, coming from my good friend and amazing fellow blogger Maureen, this post is truly beautiful and educative to say the least.

Hey guys
Welcome to an exciting episode for today’s post. Last year while looking for a colourful peplum top,all I kept seeing was this floral dress in my closet and that’s when I started thinking about what to do with this over sized free dress. You can imagine all the stuff I thought about including taking it to the tailor but I’m glad I discovered something amidst all this.
You can actually convert this into a peplum top which you can wear with a pair of jeans, skirt or maxi dress. Let’s dive right into how to go about it…
STEP 1
Use a slim belt and loosely tie it around the waist
STEP 2
Pull out the upper part of the dress to the length you are more comfortable with
STEP 3
Use another belt to cinch the waist and showcase your curves. Level out everything and you are so good to go
The first belt should be loose since you will use another belt and the last thing you want is for your stomach to be all tight you can’t even breathe. While thrifting and you end up finding such a piece, always think of what you can do with such a dress before you dismiss it. 🙂 let me know your thoughts about today’s post and do follow me on instagram to keep up with my style.xx
