To say that Helena was frustrated at that particular moment would be an understatement. She was riled beyond words. She hated everything about this new town. Initially she’d been very excited about the transfer. New opportunities, new friends, new environment that comes with new challenges. She was bubbling with anticipation. But as the days passed on, her anticipation turned to fear. Fear of the unknown. Her new habitat was hell on earth. Confusion reigned supreme and the inhabitants were the most arrogant, selfish people she’d ever come across. Just that morning, two guys in uniform had visited her house claiming to be policemen. Reason for their visit? They’d been told that that house hosted criminals. She’d stood her ground unfazed by their bullying and told them that she was new in town and not a criminal at all. Later, a neighbor had told her to be careful, that those were not police officers; most probably they were thugs themselves. She felt cheated.
And now her overtly arrogant boss was on her case, again. He’d made her stay and work overtime, again! It made no sense to her at all how everyone in the office was allowed to leave as soon as it was five apart from her. She felt as if she was being punished. For what, she didn’t know. She tried to remember if there was anything she’d done wrong. Nothing. If anything she’d been very polite to everyone in the office, the big man included. The most troubling fact was how he waited till it was almost departure time then piled a whole load of work on her desk.
Now she was all alone in the huge, huge office. She worked silently as she thought about how lonely her life was. What a waste of young life! It was Friday, she should be in a club somewhere, partying her sorrows away and screaming how you only live once. She should be in a dance floor at that very moment, shaking her booty to some drunken stranger because, yes, you only live once. But she knew not a single soul in this confused mean city. She was busy typing when she thought she heard a sound. She stopped for a minute and listened. Nothing.
She went on with her work, her mind back to it wholly. She was in deep concentration when a hand touched her shoulder. She jumped immediately and turned to look at the intruder. It was Joel. Her boss. She let out a deep breath.
“I uh…..errr……”
“Hey, what’s the panic for, Helena? Relax and stop being jumpy.”
“I’m not jumpy,” she said defensively, the color coming to her cheeks. This was so unlike the Joel was beginning to know. The mean abusive creature that roamed the offices during the day, looking for mistakes and the people who made them to pin them down. Why was he being this nice?
“Kindly sit down and finish your work. I want to give you a lift home. It’s late and you are new in this town. I don’t want to put you into any more risks than I already have in the past few days.”
“Thank you sir,” she said, astonished. Well, this was something. She sat down and started from where she’d left. He went to stand at the window, staring at the beautiful sight of the city. Thank God she was almost through, she thought gleefully as her hands worked furiously.
“You are fast,” he said softy from behind her and she almost jumped again. He was breathing behind her neck, his breath fresh and tingly. A shiver ran down her spine and she told herself to stay put.
“I try,” she said in a hoarse voice and cleared her throat. Damn.
He placed both his hands on her shoulders and works on them slowly, gently. Helena froze.
“Are you scared of me Helena?” he asked in a whisper and the shivers doubled. What was happening here?
She turned her chair to look at him.
“I beg your pardon?”
“Are you scared of me? Is it because of the scar on my face?”
“What!” she asked unbelievingly. Who was this man? Oh, the guts in him! She’d noticed the scar on him the first day alright, but it wasn’t something that crossed her mind when she saw him. It never existed. Definitely not something that bothered her.
“You haven’t answered my question.”
“It’s not something I dwell on.”
“I see.” He said nothing else and they stood staring at each other, each in their own thoughts.
“Come here,” she said in a low voice, surprising even herself.
It was all the encouragement he needed. He moved a step closer to her and their bodies touched.
“I want you Helena. I’ve wanted you ever since the day I first saw you,” he croaked.
Helena was torn. This had escalated so quickly. She was not in a relationship, but this dint feel right. She’d been single for eight months now and growing hornier by the minute. Any single thing of late made her want some. The cold, the strangers on the bus. The aftermath of putting on lace panties on her just shaven parts. Even doing squats made her feel in a type of way, like she could rape her gym instructor.
“Ohh,” it was all she could manage.
Without warning, he took her mouth in his and the electrifying shock that passed through them surprised them. It started as a gentle kiss that turned almost violent. The need and desire was palpable. The urgency was mutual, the need almost animalistic. Who was this Man? She asked herself for the umpteenth time. But she dint have time to reason about anything as his huge hands undid her silk blouse. She was melting and any common sense she had was long gone. He continued kissing her as he undid her bra and let it fall on the ground. His hands worked towards her skirt and it immediately followed the other pieces. He stood back for a moment to admire her body, his roaming eyes telling her all she needed to know. He looked on appreciatively, the desire almost blinding his eyes. She looked into his eyes and smiled at what she saw there. This was going to be a long night.
In a flash, his clothes were off. He stood back too, waiting to see her reaction. Try as hard as she did, she couldn’t redirect her eyes from that one particular spot. She gasped in disbelieve and it was all she could do to drag her eyes back to his face. She swallowed hard, her sensitive part throbbing painfully. She found herself stealing glances at his member again. My God, this was one dangerously huge member. She closed her eyes as he brushed his hands on her nipples and she pleaded silently for him to take her there and then. Eight months! Eight months of dry spell! When his wet warm tongue touched the right nipple, she wimped like a little baby and it took all of Joel’s will power not to enter her.
In both of their minds, they knew it was going to be a long pleasant Friday night. And they embraced it, loving the challenge.
