Manyatta Cider celebrated the power of culture, music and meaningful connections as a partner at the 10th Edition of Kikuyu Love Session, held at the Ngong Racecourse, Waterfront in Nairobi. Themed the Slightly Scandalous Edition, the event brought together vernacular music lovers and contemporary Kenyan culture for an experience rooted in heritage, self-expression and community.

The event offered a vibrant meeting point for Kikuyu culture and modern social experiences, with performances from Lil Maina, Ayrosh, Chris Kaiga, Mūringī & Friends and AFRIMA Award winners Hornsphere. Comedian Mammito hosted the experience, guiding guests through an evening celebrating the music, stories and cultural expressions that bring people together.
Through the partnership, Manyatta Cider reinforced its Taste Like Home proposition, celebrating the familiar flavours, shared experiences and connections that make people feel at home. The collaboration reflects the brand’s commitment to supporting authentic Kenyan cultural experiences that bring communities together while creating new ways for people to connect with their heritage.

“Culture has a special way of bringing people together, creating a sense of belonging and reminding us of the things we share. At Manyatta, we believe that some of the most meaningful moments happen when people come together over music, stories and experiences that feel familiar. Our partnership with Kikuyu Love Session reflects our Taste Like Home spirit and our commitment to celebrating the connections that make us who we are,” said Catherine Wahu, Brand Manager, Manyatta Cider.
The Slightly Scandalous Edition invited attendees to embrace spontaneity, meet new people and enjoy an experience that celebrated the richness of vernacular music and culture.
From the performances to the shared moments among guests, the event demonstrated how cultural platforms can honour heritage while remaining relevant to contemporary audiences.
Through its partnership with Kikuyu Love Session, Manyatta Cider continues to celebrate Kenyan culture and meaningful connections, bringing its Taste Like Home spirit to experiences that bring people together.
