Arsenal fans finally got their moment, and Guinness Matchday made sure Kenya felt every second of it.
Following Arsenal’s dramatic 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park, the North London club sealed the 2025/26 Premier League title, ending a 22 year wait for league glory after three consecutive runner up finishes.
Across Nairobi and Mombasa, Guinness hosted packed Matchday experiences that turned into full blown Arsenal celebrations by the final whistle. At Al Capone in Nairobi and Club Mios in Mombasa, fans erupted as Arsenal officially lifted the trophy, capping off one of the club’s most emotional seasons in decades.

Elsewhere, Aston Villa crashed Pep Guardiola’s farewell storyline with a 2-1 victory over Manchester City, while Manchester United secured third place after a dominant 3-0 win over Brighton.
The Guinness Matchday experience blended football, banter and nightlife energy in equal measure. Fans were treated to live punditry from Lotan Salapei, interactive challenges, premium Guinness serves and entertainment that kept the celebrations going long after the matches ended.
In Nairobi, DJ Xclusive, MC Leroy and Watendawili kept the crowd on its feet, while Mombasa’s line-up featured Khaligraph Jones, MC Gogo, DJ Grauchi and BV Accurate.
“As the 25/26 Premier League season comes to an end with a momentous win for Arsenal, Guinness is proud to continue creating spaces where fans can experience these unforgettable moments together,” said Joy Murugi, Brand Manager Guinness.
With another Premier League season wrapped, Guinness Matchday once again proved that in Kenya, football is rarely just football. It is community, rivalry, celebration — and occasionally, 22 years of waiting finally paying off.
